Founded in 1961 by Laurentino De Cerchio, Torre Zambra Winery is one of the oldest wineries in Abruzzo region, and has built its story on quality wines sinking their identity in Villamagna territory.
The hills of Villamagna are blessed with an unique microclimate that makes this some of the best wine country in the world. The sea and the mountains are on the doorstep and generate sudden temperature changes, both from day to night and from one season to the next, a climate feature that is the secret behind the aromatic profile and the intense colours of the wines.
Nowadays the winery, led by Laurentino’s son and grandson, decided to address the production to methods and techniques (spontaneous fermentation and ageing in tonneau above all) aiming to exalt the peculiar characteristics of native grapes, already full of typical smells and flavors, obtaining wines which express authentically the terroir they originate from.
